Our Teen Empowerment Committee is a virtual space where at-risk youth empower other youth; though skill building, discussion and mentorship TEC main focus is to seek ways to better empower their peers in low-income communities and promote sustainable growth and change in their schools and communities; TEC typically meets once a month.
Youth and teens ages 13-19 who need to earn community service hours are encouraged to volunteer with The Ronald A. Burgess Jr. Foundation Inc; volunteers will be able to set a flexible volunteer schedule that works around school and other activities.
Sign up to be a part of our City-Teen Mentoring programs and story telling conferences; opportunity to motivate your peers through peer to peer motivation, role modeling and coordinating at our mentor programs and story-telling conferences; only requirement is you commit to being kind, inspirational and disciplined to motivating other teens all over the world and in your respective community.
